Habitation Tendance salutes the remarkable contribution of Mr. Serge Savard, of Messier, Savard & Associés (MSA) and our partner in the Quartier des Promenades rental project in Saint-Bruno, for his contribution to the development of university field hockey.
The Montarvillois, a leading figure in professional field hockey and resident of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville for 50 years, has put all his determination and notoriety at the service of the creation of a Vert & Or university field hockey program, for both men and women, in collaboration with theUniversité de Sherbrooke and thanks to a major donation of $6 million.
This new program will offer Quebec student-athletes a path to excellence on the ice and in the classroom.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Habitation Tendance's Quartier des Promenades real estate project, built behind Les Promenades St-Bruno, took place on Wednesday, May 28. Groupe Messier, Savard & Associés is the financial partner.
"Today is a great moment for us. It's a project we've been nurturing and shaping for ten years," comments Habitation Tendance president Éric Bertrand.

Located at the intersection of Route 116 and Autoroute 30, the project will comprise 12 residential buildings with a total of nearly 2,000 apartments, 10% of which will be affordable.
There are also numerous common spaces, including co-working areas, a training room, a swimming pool, outdoor lounges, community gardens and relaxation areas.
Development will take place in phases over several years. Construction of the streets and the first building has now begun, under the direction of HTEG, a division of Habitation Tendance. Delivery of phase 1 is scheduled for 2026.
Habitation Tendance's total investment amounts to over $800 million.
After nearly 10 years of discussion, Habitation Tendance, in partnership with Messier, Savard et Associés (MSA), broke ground on the Quartier des Promenades real estate project in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville last Wednesday. This new housing project could be the answer to the city's rental housing shortage.
According to their press release, this is the largest residential project ever built in the region, with a total investment of over $800 million. It will be located at the intersection of Route 116 and Autoroute 30, just minutes from Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno and CF Promenades St-Bruno shopping center.
The Promenades real estate project will involve the construction of new streets, for which names had to be found. Not a frequent occurrence in our municipalities.
In Saint-Bruno, the former segment of Parent Street was renamed Ponton Street in December 2022, in tribute to the Ponton family's contribution to the town's development. In October 2021, the Commission de toponymie agreed to register the new Place René-Descartes, accessed via rue René-Descartes.

Elected municipal officials approved the revised Master Development Plans for the area's Programme particulier d'urbanisme at their April meeting.
The new development will be built behind the Wal-Mart store and will feature nearly 3,800 housing units.
